The 11th Read Together Palm Beach County has kicked off with the recent announcement of its 2019 book selection, The One-in-a-Million Boy by Monica Wood. The story explores the friendship of a cranky 104-year old woman and a peculiar 11-year old boy.

This county-wide book club with a tagline of "One Book, One Community", encourages adults who can read to do it more, in fact at the same time, while also engaging in community discussion about relevant topics in the book. Throughout the next few months, various events will be hosted at libraries, coffee houses, theaters and offices to discuss the key themes.
