While studying neuroscience as a graduate student at NYU, Casey was introduced to the world of risk management when he was recruited to be an actuary by Munich Reinsurance. However, it was at Liberty Mutual where Casey was able to sharpen his skills while working as a commercial underwriter designing insurance programs for multinational corporations and small business owners. Although Casey does enjoy the complexity that commercial insurance provides, he found he was able to bridge his passion for helping people and his fluency with numbers to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals through the world of Private Client Services. Casey has connections with wholesale brokers from NY to Miami and is willing to work on individual older condos to multi-million-dollar trophy properties. As a former underwriter Casey literally underwrites everything himself to the extent that billion-dollar insurance companies have changed their guidelines after hearing his arguments for writing certain properties.
